Last week I was going through my rolodex. I saw their name and phone number and said, "I'm throwing out their card...the last time I called the wife a year and a half ago, she was ice cold. I'm not up for a battle." Later<strong> that</strong> day I went to help some friends with something. Then, I stopped at the grocery store for one item....there was George, sitting in front, waiting for his wife. He was delighted to see me and told me his wife was inside. They had just gotten home from a thousand mile journey and were stopping for groceries...the wife came out and hugged and kissed me. She was so happy to see me. Because I had discarded their phone number earlier that day, I had to ask them for their number again. They insist I keep in touch. I love how the LORD knew my reasoning earlier that day, and frankly, corrected it!!! Years ago I had a friend who had business cards printed with these three words and would leave them where ever he went: Watch God Work! There's nothing more exciting! Wait no longer….after a year and a half of not seeing them…this is what happened.
