This unique full color lithograph artistically depicts the fascinating drama unfolding on the seemingly unpredictable Middle East stage. This world map utilizes all handcrafted calligraphy to shape the continents from several key biblical prophecies relating to the worldwide regathering of the Jewish people to the land of Israel.
There are literally hundreds of ancient prophetic verses written more than 2,000 years ago in the Hebrew Scriptures, that paint an accurate picture of the reestablishment of the modern State of Israel and the regathering there of the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth. The hand of the Almighty is unmistakably revealed in this monumental saga which has long captured the world’s attention. These ancient texts are written across the face of the earth. The flag of Israel serves as a backdrop for the map. The flag’s stripes frame the continents and contain the title of the lithograph and major theme of the work: “The LORD builds up Jerusalem. He gathers the dispersed of Israel: He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147: 2-3. Why was this lithograph created? Simply to artistically document the FACT that the Living God, who alone works wonders, is in control of history… that the historic return of the Jewish people to their Land in the 20th century, and continuing today, is the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy written 2,600 years ago! This monumental return was after 2,000 years of having been scattered throughout the world, and persecuted. The Jewish people were preserved while many ancient peoples no longer exist. Israel is a modern day “proof” that the Scriptures are valid, accurate and prophetic. The artwork is meant to encourage all who love Israel with the fact that Israel will ALWAYS survive as a nation. As the Scriptures say: “Thus saith the LORD, Who giveth the sun for a light by day, And the ordinances of the moon and of the stars by night,… if these ordinances depart from before Me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.” Jer. 31:35,36 The Prophetic Regathering of Israel lithograph has been displayed at the Christian Embassy in Jerusalem, the Israeli Parliament, galleries, a museum, churches, synagogues, office and homes around the world.
